The Center's tradition of excellence remains unchanged year after year due to our staff’s commitment to meet the needs of our little ones. Children from birth to 5 years of age are accepted. They can take part in an exciting curriculum that includes activities in Practical Life, Sensorial Experience, Language, Mathematics, Science, Geography and Spanish. The staff works diligently to whet the youngsters’ appetites for new adventures and experiences in learning.

The entire environment is designed to catch the eye and inspire the interest of students," says COGM Director Penny Stuckey. "Within this safe and empowering community, the young child will learn at the deepest possible level to believe in themselves in an atmosphere of independence."
What is the key to their success? "Our classrooms will represent a social and emotional environment where children will be respected and empowered as individual human beings," says Stuckey. "They will be encouraged to develop a strong sense of self worth and personal identity. They will also learn to be contributing members of a community."
The Educational Center began in 1976 with six students and three staff members. Today, it has an enrollment that includes nearly 90 pre-schoolers and pre-kindergartners, 30 kindergartners and a staff of 23 people.
